Rich Leaver is a full time licensed and insured Wisconsin land surveyor, and he has been practicing in Dodge County and the surrounding counties for over 30 years, including 22 years as the Dodge County Surveyor. We guarantee that a licensed land surveyor will be performing all aspects of your survey. When your land survey is completed, it will be correct and a legal survey for you and on file with the county, and the property lines determined will be defensible in a court of law, if necessary.
Career Highlights
- 11 years in the private sector performing land surveys.
- 22 years as Dodge County Surveyor, the major project completed was the remonumentation, or the restoration of original starting points for all private surveys. Over 3000 starting points for all land surveys in all townships were either restored, maintained, and GPS coordinated by Rich and his crews.
- 7 years participating in the Fond du Lac County remonumentation of starting points for private land surveys.
- Cities of Mayville and Waupun, projects in the last 2 years involved the replatting or resurveying over 500 lots in 4 major assessor’s plats.
- City of Fond du Lac redevelopment authority, a major boundary and topographic survey of the downtown district.
- City of Beaver Dam, the initial boundary and topographic survey for the Monarch Range Development plat.
- The 3-county project involving Dodge, Jefferson, and Rock creating a highly accurate GPS network, being a densification of the Wisconsin High Precision GPS Network. In 1993, this project was the first project in Wisconsin and possibly the nation. Since then over 40 other counties in Wisconsin and counties from around the nation have done similar projects.
- City of Juneau, the property and topographic surveys for the county administration and justice facility sites.
- Performed numerous certified survey maps, property surveys, major plats or topographic surveys in various townships, cities and villages.
- Reviewed hundreds of surveys by nearly 30 other land surveyors.
